Lisieux Guest Center | One of Fort Portal’s Top Budget Guest Houses
Lisieux Guest Center is the perfect choice for the budget traveler looking to experience Fort Portal city on a budget at a clean comfortable accommodation facility. The guest house managed by the Catholic Church was named after Saint Theresa of Lisieux who is a popular saint in the history of the church and was called “the greatest saint of modern times by Pope Pius X.
The facility is quiet, surrounded by trees and has a large compound dotted with mural paintings, a lush green section and two white buildings. Lisieux is relatively small compared to other accommodation facilities in the area but the beauty about that is that you get to stay in a quiet environment away from the city noise.
Lisieux Guest Center is located in Booma, Fort Portal right after the road that leads to Nyabukaara trading center. The center is a 10 minute drive away from town and is walk able distance from town (about a 25 minute walk away). This makes it a perfect base for the budget traveler who is looking to explore Fort Portal City and visit national parks like Kibale Forest National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park.
