The 3 Days Rwanda Safari will take you to Volcanoes National Park which is home to the endangered mountain gorillas in Rwanda and the active Rwanda golden monkeys. Gorilla trekking is a must-do tourism activity as it offers you an opportunity to get close to the gorillas. Paired with the golden monkeys this 3 days tour makes for a perfect short safari in Rwanda. Volcanoes national park also known as Parc National des Volcans is located in Northwestern Rwanda and this is where you will be spending your 3 days in Rwanda.

Tour Plan
On this day you will be picked up from your hotel by your driver's guide. You then start the travel journey to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze district. The drive takes you through the beautiful scenery of Rwanda which is referred to as “the land of a thousand hills.”. On arrival you check in to the lodge, have lunch, and spend the rest of the day relaxing.

Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner
After an early breakfast at the lodge, your driver guide will drive you to the park headquarters of Volcanoes National Park. You will be received by your ranger guides, have a cup of Rwandan coffee, and then receive a briefing from the guide. You are then told the guidelines for your gorilla trek and how to behave around the mountain gorillas. After the briefing depending on the gorilla group that you have been assigned to trek you will walk to the starting point or your guide will drive you to the starting point. Once you locate the gorillas you are allowed to spend one hour with them, take photos, and watch them in their natural habitat.
You will also visit the Iby’Iwacu cultural village which is a great way to experience the way of life of the Rwandans as you get a look into their culture, traditions, and norms. The cultural visit can be done after your gorilla trek depending on what time you return. While at the cultural village, you will visit the traditional medicine man, be entertained by the traditional dances which you are free to join in and you visit the king’s palace where you can be dressed as a Queen or King for the day. After the visit return to the lodge for dinner.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
You will wake up to a hearty breakfast at the lodge after which the driver guide will transfer you to Kinigi headquarters the starting point for Golden Monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park. Here you receive a briefing from your ranger guide and then start the trek in search of the active and witty golden monkeys in Rwanda. Once you locate these primates you are allowed to spend one hour with them watch them feed and capture some good photos/videos. The golden monkeys are usually seen feeding on bamboo shoots and it is interesting to watch them munch on bamboo shoots and hop around the forest.
After the trek, you start the journey back to Kigali as you end your Rwanda safari.
