The safari combines a typical Kenya wildlife safari with a Zanzibar white beach and ancient Stone town experience

Tour Plan
Your safari begins today as you will arrive at Jomo Kenyatta airport where you will be met and picked up by your driver guide. After a briefing from your guide, we begin the journey to Amboseli National Park one of Kenya’s popular parks and the best place to get close to free-ranging elephants in the world. On arrival, you transfer to the lodge, check-in and have dinner.
Journey time: 3.5 hours

Spend the day on game drives in Amboseli National Park. The park is home to a great number of wildlife offering excellent game viewing and about 420 bird species have been recorded in the park. Wildlife to look out for include free-ranging elephants, lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, cape buffaloes, Maasai giraffes, impalas, Grant’s zebras, Burchell’s zebra, blue wildebeest, eland, waterbucks, wild dog, jackal, hippo, hartebeest, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles.
After the morning game drive, you have lunch and then head out for yet another game drive in the afternoon.

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and we then head out for a morning game drive. After the game drive, we depart for Nakuru National Park with a stopover for lunch along the way. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and landscape of Kenya along the way.
On arrival check in to the lodge and head out for an evening game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.

After breakfast, you check out and then head out for a morning game drive. Wildlife to look out for include the Rothschild’s giraffe, lions, cheetahs, leopards, cape buffaloes, hippos, eland, waterbuck, zebras, warthogs, wildebeest, the recently introduced eastern black rhinos and southern white rhinos and on rare occasions the wild dog may be sighted in the park. The park is also home to primates such as black-and-white Columbus monkeys, vervet monkeys and olive baboons. Lake Nakuru hosts a variety of bird life and more than 500 species have been recorded including the well-known lesser and greater flamingos, pied kingfishers, African fish eagles, Goliath heron, hamerkop, Verreaux’s eagle, Great white pelican, Greater blue-eared starling etc.
After the game drive, we begin the journey to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. On arrival check in to your lodge.

After a hearty breakfast today you will head in to the Maasai Mara for a morning game drive. The Maasai Mara is well known for the big cats that are best seen while on a game drive. Wildlife to look out for include Lions, Cheetahs, African leopards, wildebeest, Grant’s zebras, elephants, cape buffaloes, Maasai Giraffes, jackals, servals, and spotted hyenas. Several antelope species can be seen in the reserve including Grant’s gazelles, Coke’s Hartebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, duikers, impalas, and roan antelope. The Mara and Talek rivers are the best places to see crocodiles and large groups of hippos.
After lunch, you head out for an afternoon game drive for more wildlife encounters. After the game drive return to the lodge in the evening for dinner.

After an early breakfast you transfer to Nairobi, have an early lunch and then your driver guide will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight to Zanzibar. Overnight will be in Stone town.

After breakfast at the hotel, you head out with your guide for a visit to Stone Town. Stone town is an artistic and historical town in Zanzibar and its architecture goes back as far as the 19th century. The town is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. You have an option of a stone town city tour, Jozani forest, a visit to the spice tour and prison island, you will choose what places to visit with the help of your guide. Return to the hotel later in the day for dinner.

After breakfast today you check out of the hotel and transfer the North or east coast of the island to a beach resort for more of Zanzibar and its beauty. On arrival check in to the resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

You will spend these days relaxing at leisure at the resort and engaging in different activities and excursions like boat trips, diving, snorkelling, kite surfing and other water activities depending on your interests.

You leave the resort today for Dar-es-Salaam. Overnight will be at a hotel in Dar-es-Salaam on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

Today marks the end of your safari as you will be transferred to Dar-es-Salaam for your outbound flight out of Tanzania.
