Golden Business Forum 2023 / Second Edition taking place in Kigali City Rwanda

The Golden Business Forum 2023 is here and taking place in Rwanda at the Kigali Exhibition and Conference village (former camp Kigali). The business forum commenced on 16th August 2023 under the theme “Creating African Wealth under the AfCFTA and has welcomed participation from over 40 countries from across the world. The Golden business forum is a great initiative for business in Africa as it has welcomed engaging panel discussions on business, interactive sessions from renowned experts and leaders, entrepreneurs and private sector players from different countries.

Rwanda is doing a commendable initiative with the Golden Business Forum by implementing goals of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement whose aim is to foster economic growth in Africa and advance African wealth. The AfCFTA plans to advance African wealth by liberalizing trade in services, eliminating tariffs and non-tariff barriers to advance trade in goods, cooperate on investment, custom matters and all trade related areas.

The event is therefore a great learning and networking experience for Rwandan businesses and entrepreneurs who will have an opportunity to gain wealth on business knowledge from experienced international investors, in addition businesses in Rwanda will also display their investment potential to international investors as they showcase the future potential of their business ideas and plans. The Global Business Forum’s objective is to identify and facilitate business opportunities across Africa and to promote engagement between developers, investors, financiers and this will surely be achieved through the interactive sessions and networking sessions that are taking place at the Kigali conference and exhibition village in Rwanda.

UNICEF Rwanda is also attending the event and participating in sharing how businesses can drive positive impact in Africa while ensuring that children’s rights are protected.

What the Golden Business Forum means for Rwanda and Africa

The 2023 Golden business forum will be a key driver for collaborative economic success for Rwanda, the future of African wealth can be spiked through collaboration and attracting foreign direct investment in the continent. The event therefore is a great avenue for businesses, investors, government officials and entrepreneurs to form strong and valuable connections for the future.

In addition basing on the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement, this second edition of the Global Business Forum is a step in the right direction for the business eco system of Rwanda and Africa at large.
