This 5 days safari takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking and to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a wildlife viewing in the vast Kasenyi plains.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is the most popular national park in Uganda and is home to 95 species of mammals and about 600 species of birds making it a prime destination for birding. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of the best places in the world to track the mountain gorillas,the diversity of Bwindi makes it a key highlight for most visitors that experience this 5 Days ultimate safari.

Tour Plan
Your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe early in the morning. You will then begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive to the park is scenic as it you will have amazing views of the scenery of Uganda and pass through small towns for a look in to the life of the locals. On arrival in the park you head to the lodge, check in and have dinner.
Optional Activity: Night game drive in the park where you look out for nocturnal animals especially the cats and hyenas.

You will have an early breakfast today after which you set out in to the park with your driver game drive for the morning game drive. The common wildlife that can be sighted on the game drive include elephants, buffaloes, hippos, lion, antelopes and Queen Elizabeth National Park hosts a variety of bird species that you can look out for.
In the afternoon you will go for a 2 hour boat ride on Kazinga Channel. Kazinga channel is a 32 km channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward and a boat ride here offers you opportunities to look out for hippos, elephants, crocodiles, monitor lizards, water birds and other animals that usually converge at the shores to drink water in the afternoon. After the boat ride you head back to the lodge and spent the rest of your day taking in the beauty of the lodge.

Breakfast in the morning will prepare you for the journey to Bwindi National Park. Bwindi National Park is well known for the gorilla trekking experience and is the only place to track gorillas in Uganda. On arrival at your lodge in Bwindi, you check in and have dinner. Lunch will be at the lodge as well.

Bwindi National Park is home to half of the world’s mountain gorilla population with 459 individuals as of December 2018 and today you get to meet these endangered species on a trek. You will have breakfast at the lodge and the guide will transfer you to the briefing area where you will be taken through the trek guide lines by your ranger guide. After this you are assigned a gorilla family and then start your trek in to Bwindi Forest. You are allowed to spend 1 hour with the gorillas. After the trek your guide will take you back to the lodge where you can spend the rest of the day resting.

You will end your safari today as you travel to Kampala with a stopover at the Uganda Equator for photos and have lunch at a restaurant near the equator.
