This 4 days gorilla and wildlife safari will combine 2 great national parks of Uganda which are Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Lake Mburo National Park. In Bwindi National Park you go mountain gorilla trekking and in Lake Mburo National Park you go on game drives where you look out for wildlife.

Tour Plan
You start your safari on this day with pick up by your driver guide from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala. You will then travel to Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda. On arrival at the park you check in to the lodge have lunch and thereafter go on a game drive in the park. Lake Mburo National Park is rich in wildlife and the most common animals that can be seen include zebras, elephants, buffaloes and different antelope species. The park is also home to leopard, hyenas but these are rarely seen in the park.
After the game drive you head for a boat ride on Lake Mburo. You will look out for crocodiles, hippos, antelopes and buffaloes as they come to the shores of the lake to drink water. Water birds can also be sighted while on the boat ride. After the boat ride you return back to your lodge where you will have dinner.

You will have a short game drive in Lake Mburo National Park early this morning for more sightings of wildlife in the park. After the game drive you begin the journey to Bwindi National Park, enjoy the beautiful scenery and landscape of Uganda along the way. You will arrive at the lodge later in the day check in and have dinner.

Today you will have an early breakfast at the lodge and then your driver guide will drive you to the park office in Bwindi for the gorilla trek. You will receive a briefing from your ranger guide and then you will be assigned a gorilla family to trek. You then start the trek in to the diverse Bwindi forest for an encounter with the endangered mountain gorillas. On locating the gorillas you will spend 1 hour with them in which you have time to capture your best shots, watch the gorillas as they feed and go on with their day. After the rewarding experience you start to trek back to the lodge. Arrive at the lodge and spend the rest of the your day at leisure.

Today you transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe with a stopover at the Uganda Equator where you will take photos and have lunch at one of the restaurants at the Equator. After lunch you proceed with the journey.
