This 4 days safari will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking and to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation on the shores of the lake with its different islands and scenic views of the surrounding Kigezi highlands.

Tour Plan
You begin your 4 days safari with pick up by your driver guide from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. You will then start the journey to Bwindi National Park in south western Uganda. You will have a stopover at the Uganda equator where you will take photos and after proceed with the journey. Arrive at the lodge later in the day check in and then have dinner. Lunch will be along the way.

Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner
You will have an early morning breakfast at the lodge and after that your driver guide will transfer you to the starting point for your gorilla trekking adventure. You will receive a briefing from your ranger guide at the park office about guide lines to follow while on the trek and how to behave around the mountain gorillas. You then start the trek as you look out for bird species, monkeys and have the experience of Bwindi Forest. Once you locate the mountain gorillas you will spend time watching them as they feed. The gorilla trek is an exciting adventure as it brings you close to the endangered mountain gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour with me. You will be able to also take photos and capture the great encounter. After this you start the trek back to the starting point. You will then be transferred to the lodge where you will have dinner and spend time relaxing and reminiscing over the gorilla trek.

You will have breakfast at the lodge and after that you start the journey to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi referred to as “the place of many little birds” is a stunning lake in southwestern Uganda. The lake is located between Kisoro and Kabale. On arrival you will head on a motorized canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi which offers you spectacular views of the scenery and landscape of Uganda. Lake Bunyonyi is the deepest lake in Africa and has 29 island, while on the canoe ride the site guide will tell you traditional stories about the different island with the most common story being about the punishment island.
After this you head to the lodge check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

On this day you will end your safari as you travel back to Kampala. Drop off on arrival at your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe or to the airport for your flight back.
