Overview
The 3 Days fly in gorilla tracking safari offers less travel time to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park making the journey for your gorilla trekking in Uganda less tiresome.
You will take a scheduled flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi airstrip. You then transfer to the park which can take between 1-3 hours to get to your lodge. The flight takes one and a half hours to get to the park and once you arrive you can decide to engage go an optional activity like a community tour or simply relax at the lodge.

Tour Plan
Your safari starts with transfer to Entebbe Airport for your scheduled flight to Bwindi National Park. You will fly into Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip depending on which sector you will be tracking gorillas. If you are tracking gorillas in Ruhija or Buhoma you fly in to Kihihi airstrip. If you are tracking gorillas in Nyakagezi - Mgahinga, Nkuringo or Rushaga sector you will fly in to Kisoro.
Your driver guide will be waiting for you at the respective airstrips and will then drive you to your lodge. Once at the lodge you check in and you have an option of going on a community tour or spending the rest of the day at leisure.
Journey time: Flight – 1.5 hours, Drive from the airstrip to the lodge – 1-3 hours

Accommodation
Bwindi Lodge
After an early breakfast at the lodge your driver guide will drive you to the park headquarters in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will be received by your ranger guides and then receive a briefing from the guide. After the briefing depending on the gorilla group that you have been assigned to trek you will walk to the starting point or your guide will drive you to the starting point. Once you locate the gorillas you are allowed to spend one hour with them, take photos and watch them. Gorilla trekking in Uganda is one for the books and will leave you with wonderful memories of these interesting primates.

On this day your driver guide will drop you off at Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe airport.
