Tour Plan
We start safari on this day with pick up from your hotel in Arusha town, after brief introductions we begin the journey to Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park is a rewarding game viewing park that is known for its high population of elephants and its unique huge baobab trees. On arrival at the park you will go on an introductory game drive where with your guide you will look out for wildlife that includes elephants, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, gazelle, and warthogs among others. After the introductory game drive we retire to the lodge for overnight and dinner as we look forward to more time in Tarangire National Park the next.

Tarangire National Park has a diverse array of free-roaming wildlife that include Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Buffalo, Zebras, Wildebeest, Olive baboons, Vervet Monkeys, Gerenuk, Fringe-eared oryx, Dik-dik, Grant’s gazelle, Waterbuck, Cheetahs (rarely seen), Leopard, African wild dog, Honey badget, Impalas, Commond Eland, Caracal, Banded mongoose, Hippos, Warthogs, Jackals, Kudus, Hartebeest, Bat-eared foxes among others. Wildlife is usually seen foraging across different habitats of Tarangire national park, prepare for incredible sightings in the midst of one of Tanzania’s most diverse national park. Today you spend the entire day doing game drives in the park as you look out for wildlife, you start the day after an early breakfast at the lodge. The area of interest will be the Northern circuit and the several small loops to the riverbank. The Tarangire River is a major contributor to the rich eco system of the national park as it offers fresh water for wild animals especially during the annual dry season. After a rewarding day in the wild you return to your lodge for dinner.

Today you leave Tarangire National Park for Lake Manyara National Park which lies between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. The drive to the park is a scenic drive as you view the beauty of Tanzania. Lake Manyara is an alkaline lake which covers a large area of the park and is home to thousands of flamingos and an array of birdlife.
On arrival at the park you will go on a game drive in the park. Wildlife to look out for include Large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, waterbucks, bushbucks, Grant’s gazelle, warthogs, large troops of baboons, Thomson’s gazelle, impalas, cape buffaloes and giraffes. You also look out for predators like lions, African golden cat, bat-eared fox, black-backed jackal, and leopard, African wild cat, spotted hyena, serval, honey badger and African civet. Cheetah is also present in the park but is a very rare sighting. Your day ends in the evening as you transfer to the lodge for dinner.

After an early breakfast we start the journey to Central Serengeti. The journey takes you through the farmland of Karatu and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will arrive just in time for a delicious lunch at your lodge in central Serengeti.
In the afternoon you go on an introductory game drive in the magical Serengeti. The Serengeti is popular worldwide for its abundant wildlife with over 300 mammal species and is home to the Big Five that is Lion, buffaloes, Elephant, Leopard and the Eastern Black Rhinoceros. On the game drive you look out for the big five and other wildlife like zebras, klipspringers, giraffes, impalas, cheetah, waterbucks, topis, impalas, greater kudu, Thomson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, coke’s hartebeest, topis, common eland, klipspringer, oribi, dik dik, bushbuck, common duiker, reedbuck etc. You retire to the lodge in the evening for dinner.

The day starts with a hearty breakfast at the lodge and then we set out for full day game drives in the park. These game drives will offer an opportunity to look out for wildlife that we missed the day before and also give us opportunities to exhaust game viewing in the park. While on the game drive you stopover for a picnic lunch in the park and then continue with the game drives. Wildlife to look out for include lions, wildebeest, elephants, hippos, antelope species, giraffes, leopard, buffaloes, cheetahs etc.
The Serengeti is a magical place that will not only offer you incredible game viewing but also extensive views of the Serengeti grassland plains, expansive landscape and an array of birdlife resident to the park. The day ends with you returning to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Today marks the end of your 7 days Tanzania safari as we drive back to Arusha town. On arrival your driver guide will drop you off at your preferred location (airport or hotel).
