Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular national park and a wildlife safari to this park offers one excellent game viewing.

This safari offers you a guided game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park as you look out for wildlife that is resident in the park. The park is home to about 600 species of birds so while on the game drive you will be able to see some birds. The safari will also offer you a relaxing boat cruise on Kazinga channel where you can see water birds, crocodiles, hippos and elephants that come to drink water especially in the afternoon.

Tour Plan

Your driver guide will meet you at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. You will then start your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park that is referred to as “the medley of wonders.” On arrival you check in to the lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Breakfast at the lodge will prepare you for the morning game drive. You will set out in to the Kasenyi plains as you look out for animals that include buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, Uganda kobs, lions, hyenas and antelopes among others. In addition to the game viewing you will have breathtaking views of the open savanna landscape of Queen Elizabeth national park. In the afternoon you will go on a boat cruise on Kazinga channel which is a rewarding trip that offers incredible sightings of crocodiles, elephant, buffalo, water buck and large hippos. While on the boat cruise you will also look out for the gigantic monitor lizards and plenty of water birds that include cormorants, pelicans, storks, kingfishers and the papyrus gonolek. After the boat cruise you return to the lodge for dinner. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today will is the last day of your safari as you will travel back to Kampala/Entebbe and on arrival your driver guide will drop you off at your hotel or Entebbe airport for your outgoing flight. Meal Plan: Breakfast & Lunch
