This 3 days safari will take you to Murchison Falls National Park the largest national park in Uganda. The safari will include rhino trekking in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a game drive in the park and a boat safari on River Nile.
Murchison Falls National Park is well known for its mighty and powerful Murchison waterfalls, the park in addition offers great opportunities to view wildlife that include Lions, Leopard, Cape buffaloes, Elephants, Hyenas, Water bucks, Uganda kobs, Bush Buck, Olive Baboons, Patas monkeys and a variety of bird species.

Tour Plan
Your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe. You will then start the journey to Murchison Falls National Park.
You will stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will go on a rhino trek. Your ranger guide will lead the trek and once you locate the rhinos you will take photos, watch the rhinos as they feed and some of them like to cool off under the trees from the scorching sun.
After the rhino trek you continue with the journey to the park. Lunch will be along the way in Masindi town. On arrival at the park you will head to the lodge where you check in and have dinner.

Breakfast at the lodge will prepare you for the early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. The game drive will happen in the northern sector of the park as it has a big number of the animals in the park. Common animals that can be see include giraffes, elephants, patas monkeys, warthogs, lion, oribi and several antelope species. The leopard is also present in the park however it is a rare sighting. The game drive also offers you expansive views of the park’s landscape and you will also look out for bird species resident in Murchison falls NP.
In the afternoon you will go on a boat safari on River Nile. The boat safari is a relaxing way to take in the breeze of the river as you look out for water birds, elephants, crocodiles, hippos and other animals that like to converge at the shores to drink water and quench their thirst in the afternoon. The boat ride will take you just below the Murchison Falls, here you will get off the boat and begin the hike to the top of the falls. Once at the top you will have great photo moments and views of the mighty Murchison water falls. Your driver guide will be waiting for you to take you back to the lodge after this experience. If at all you are not interested in hiking the driver guide will drive you to the top of the falls on Day 1 for an experience here without having to hike to see the waterfalls.

You will end your safari on this day as you leave Murchison Falls National Park back to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. If your flight back is on the same day your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport.
