This 3 days safari takes you to Maasai Mara game reserve which is Kenya’s most popular tourism destination. Drive through the grassy savanna plains of the Masai Mara as you look out for the game in the reserve from the big cats to herbivores to predators.

The Maasai Mara is famously known for the annual wildebeest migration which is the longest overland migration in the world. This annual migration involves millions of wildebeest and zebras as they migrate in search of fresh water and food as the seasons change throughout the year. The annual migrations sees over a million wildebeest migrate from the Serengeti National park in Tanzania as they cross north in to the Maasai Mara

Tour Plan

Your safari begins today as your driver guide will pick you up from your preferred hotel or location in Nairobi early in the morning. After introductions you start the journey to the famous Maasai Mara. You will have a stopover at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley that offers stunning views. On arrival in Maasai Mara you head to the camp/lodge check in. In the late afternoon you go on game drive that will introduce to the game reserve. You will look out for wildlife in the park as you drive through and have stunning views of the Mara. After the game drive retire to the lodge for dinner. After a hearty breakfast today you will head in to the Maasai Mara for a morning game drive. The Maasai Mara is well known for the big cats that are best seen while on a game drive. Wildlife to look out for include Lions, Cheetah, African Leopard, wildebeest, Grant’s zebras, elephants, cape buffaloes, Maasai Giraffes, jackals, servals, spotted hyenas. Several antelope species can be seen in the reserve including Grant’s gazelles, Coke’s Hartebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, duikers, impalas, and roan antelope. The Mara and Talek rivers are the best places to see the crocodiles and large groups of hippos. After lunch you head out for an afternoon game drive for more wildlife encounters. After the game drive return to the lodge in the evening for dinner. Optional activity – Visit to the Maasai Village Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
After breakfast today you will check out of the camp/lodge and then head out for a morning game drive which will be your last game drive in the park. More wildlife and birdlife species to look out for this morning. After the game drive we start the journey back to Nairobi. On arrival in the city your driver guide will drop you off at your hotel or preferred location in Nairobi as you end your magical safari to the Maasai Mara. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch
