The 2 Days gorilla tracking Safari will take you to Volcanoes National Park which is home to the endangered mountain gorillas in Rwanda. Volcanoes National Park also known as Parc National des Volcans is located in Northwestern Rwanda. This safari is a great option for travelers who have less days in Rwanda but are looking to experience the gorilla trekking adventure in Rwanda.

Tour Plan
On this day you will be picked up from your hotel by your driver guide. You then start the travel journey to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze district. The drive takes you through the beautiful scenery of Rwanda that is referred to as “the land of a thousand hills.” . On arrival you check in to the lodge, have lunch and spend the rest of the day relaxing.

After an early breakfast at the lodge your driver guide will drive you to the park headquarters of Volcanoes National Park. You will be received by your ranger guides, have a cup of Rwandan coffee and then receive a briefing from the guide. You are then told the guide lines for your gorilla trek and how to behave around the mountain gorillas. After the briefing depending on the gorilla group that you have been assigned to trek you will walk to the starting point or your guide will drive you to the starting point. Once you locate the gorillas you are allowed to spend one hour with them, take photos and watch them in their natural habitat.
After the gorilla trek your driver guide starts you on your journey back to Kigali.
