This 4 days safari will take you to Laka Manyara national park which has a diverse eco system and is home to the unique tree-climbing lions in Tanzania. The safari will then continue to The Serengeti national park is famously known for the Great Migration which is the longest overland migration in the world. The safari then ends with the Ngorogoro crater conservation area which has an abundant concentration of wildlife and is home to the big five – elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard.

Tour Plan

Your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha town and then we depart for Lake Manyara national park which lies between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. The drive to the park is a scenic drive as you view the beauty of Tanzania. Lake Manyara is an alkaline lake which covers a large area of the park and is home to thousands of flamingo and an array of birdlife. On arrival at the park you will go on a game drive in the park. Wildlife to look out for include Large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, waterbucks, bushbucks, Grant’s gazelle, warthogs, Thomson’s gazelle, impalas, cape buffaloes and giraffes. You also look out for predators like lions, African golden cat, bat-eared fox, black-backed jackal, leopard, African wild cat, spotted hyena, serval, honey badger and African civet. Cheetah is also present in the park but is a very rare sighting. It will be a full day game drive with a stopover for a picnic lunch in the park. Your day ends in the evening as you transfer to the lodge for dinner. After an early breakfast we start the journey to Central Serengeti. The journey takes you through the farmland of Karatu and Ngorongoro conservation area. You will arrive just in time for a delicious lunch at your lodge in central Serengeti. In the afternoon you go on an introductory game drive in the magical Serengeti. The Serengeti is popular worldwide for its abundant wildlife with over 300 mammal species and is home to the Big Five that is Lion, Cape buffaloes, Elephant, Leopard and the Eastern Black Rhinoceros. On the game drive you look out for the big five and other wildlife like zebras, klipspringers, giraffes, impalas, cheetah, water bucks, topis, impalas, greater kudu, Thomson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, coke’s hartebeest, topis, common eland, klipspringer, oribi, dik dik, bushbuck, common duiker, reedbuck etc. Journey time: 4 hours Accommodation: Four Seasons Serengeti (Luxury), Serengeti Tortilis Camp (Mid-range) Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner  
After an early game drive you go on a morning game drive in Central Serengeti for more wildlife experiences. You then depart for Ngorongoro Crater conservation area. Ngorongoro crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world and was given the title of the 8th wonder of the world. The Ngorongoro crater has a large concentration of wildlife and offers excellent game viewing with incredible views. The day ends with dinner at your lodge and a much needed rest as you look forward to tomorrow. fter an early breakfast at the lodge you set out for the Ngorongoro crater drive. The Ngorongoro crater covers an area of 260 square kilometres and is 610 meters deep. The Ngorongoro was a large active volcano that erupted and collapsed in itself leaving the large crater and offers stunning views of the crater. The game drive in the crater will have you look out for wildlife like lion, elephants, buffalo, zebras, warthogs, spotted hyena, impalas, hartebeest, wildebeest, hippos, common eland, Grant’s gazelle, Thomson’s gazelles, water bucks, topis, cheetahs, serval, African wild dog and jackals. The conservation area has an abundance of wildlife with a population of about 25,000 large animals. There is also a variety of bird species to look out for while on the game drive. The game drive takes about 5 hours. You will have a picnic lunch after which you start the journey to Arusha town where your driver guide will drop you off at your preferred location bid you farewell as you end your incredible wildlife safari in Tanzania.
