Our Founder, Ritah Amanyire

Ritah Amanyire is the founder of 56Africa Tours Limited. She has always had a passion for travel as believes that travel is the best way to experience the world and get exposed to different cultures, communities, and countries. Ritah also believes travel is also the perfect way to relax and unwind while making amazing memories that will stay with you forever.

She was born and raised in Western Uganda, exposing her to a variety of national parks in the region. She vividly recalls her father driving them through Kibale National Park as they headed to the countryside for the holidays and with highlights always being olive baboons in the forests.

Ritah’s introduction to the tour and travel industry was in 2017 after completing her university degree. She worked with one of the tour companies in Uganda first as a Reservations Officer and later as a Tour Operations Consultant. This further fulfilled her passion for travel.

She then went on to visit different tourism destinations in Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Kenya. These travels have enabled her to attain expert information on these destinations and therefore her recommendations are based on experience, knowledge of the attractions, and what is best. It is from this experience that she decided to start 56Africa Tours, to share her passion for travel with the world and to offer safari experiences that are exceptional and memorable.

Ritah is involved in putting together tailor-made itineraries for clients and together with the team, she ensures that the itinerary ably meets the client’s needs and interests.
